Day 1
We will pick you up from the Jomo Kenyatta airport in Nairobi around 07:00 am, the capital city of Kenya and the largest City in East and Central Africa. Nairobi began as a shantytown depot of the East Africa railroad in 1899 and is now over 90 years old and is one of the major cities of the modern Africa. We will drive to Lake Baringo via Nakuru town for short shopping. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Baringo campsite.
Day 2
After our breakfast in the camp we will make a boat trip at the Lake Baringo from 07:30 am up to midday. We back to the campsite for lunch and after the lunch we will visit the village. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. The Lake Baringo is a freshwater lake, 200 km in the north of the Lake Naivasha. The Lake Baringo supports an enormous number of bird's species and a large number of hippos and crocodiles. There is the chance for different excursions like to see a Njemp village and dancing, a local snake farm and a bird-watching trip by foot.
Day 3
After our breakfast we will make a full day game drive at Lake Bogoria. Our cooker will make the picnic to keep you safe in health and sportive. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Baringo campsite. The Lake Bogoria is a shallow soda lake, home of a large number of bird's and the rare creater Kudu, lesser Kudu. Algae deposits attracts many flamingos to shores. Scalding hot springs and geyser at the southern end of the lake spurt and steam their alkaline water.
Day 4
After breakfast we will pack all our equipment and we will drive this morning to the Lake Nakuru National park. The arrival is around 10:00 am at the national park and we will have a full game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. The first rhino sanctuary in Kenya is nestled in the Lake Nakuru National park. This small but beautiful park lies 8 km in the south of Nakuru and covers an area with around 200 km. The park is "the greatest ornithological spectacle on earth" serving as the congregation point for a roseate mass of some 100000 up to 2 million flamingos and over 450 other species of bird's, a spectacle of immense beauty. Other wildlife in the park are zebras, waterbucks, hippos and also the big five.
Day 5
We will make a morning game drive at the Lake Nakuru until 9:45 am. We back to the camp and after breakfast we will take all our equipment to start our drive to the Masai Mara game reserve. We will spend two nights there in the Masai Mara game reserve. Dinner and overnight in the campsite.
Day 6
After breakfast we will do a full day game drive with our picnic lunch boxes. The worldfamous Masai Mara National reserve is the highlight of most Kenya Safaris. Widely regarded as the best game viewing park in the country. It features varied terrain that ranger from rolling savannahs to river forests. Zebra's, gazelles and impalas roam expansive. The big five (lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, rhinos) can also be spotted here. More than a one million wildebeests and zebra's migrate annually to the Masai Mara from the parched Serengeti plains of neighbourly Tanzania. The park covers an area of 1800 sq/km of rolling grassland dotted acacia.
Day 7
Early in the morning we will leave the Masai Mara area and we will go to the Lake Victoria area to Musoma Island. The Lake Victoria is the largest vast lake and covers a total area of approximately 68.870 sq/km (almost the size of Scotland) and he is fed by rain water. It`s also the source of the river nile and is shares by all three east African countries Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The lake has a wide variety of fish and it`s a great fish spot. Dinner and overnight in the Lubuka Island Beach Hotel.
Day 8
After the breakfast we will discover the Musoma Island. We have time to make a fishing trip around Lake Victoria and we will visit the Sukuma tribe, the biggest tribe in Tanzania. After the lunch you have time for your impressions from all the highlights of the Kenya wildlife. We offer you a free afternoon to have more power and to be ready and sportive for the new, magic and amazing endless views in the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at the Lubuku Island Beach Hotel.
Day 9
After the breakfast we depart in the Serengeti. We will travel through the maze of rock kopjes that distinguish the southern corner of the park. Keep your eyes open for lions as they spread out in the sun and gain an ideal vantage point on their prey from the tall granite outcrops. Dinner and overnight in the campsite.
Day 10
In the morning we will start our second day in the Serengeti. You will discover the Africa of your imagination-the massive Serengeti, 5.700 square miles of endless plains dotted by rock kopjes and umbrella acacias. We will see an astonishing variety of animals including leopard, wildebeest, lion, zebra, gazelle, cheetah, antelope, hyena, impala, giraffe, ostrich and warthog along with many of the 500 -odd species of birds. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 11
Early the morning we will make a game drive from 6:30am until 9:30am we back at the campsite for our breakfast. After your breakfast you will have time to listen and hear the voices of the Serengeti and to relax before we start another game drive until the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 12
After the breakfast we depart the Serengeti. We travel east, noting the dramatic change in scenery as we leave the golden plain and head into the lush green foothills that form the Ngorongoro highlands. We reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 13
After our breakfast, we have a full day to explore the soda lakes, acacia forests and open plains of the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater, at 2.286 m above sea level, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 m from the craters base, this natural amphitheatre covers an area of about 260 km² or 100 sq/miles. Animals here are non -migratory and have become accustomed to the sight of vehicles, so up-close viewing is not unusual. Ascend back out the Ngorongoro crater we depart to Mto wa mbu near the Lake Manyara Nationalpark. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 14
After breakfast we will visit the village for a walking safari to see the life of the village and the foods, fruits, vegetables and all activities of peoples. For the lunch we can have our local food in the banana plantations. Back to the village we can visit the market of masai. The afternoon is free to make your gift shopping. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 15
After the breakfast we will go to the Tarangire Nationalpark. It will be a drive from 2 hrs and we will reach the park around midday for our hot lunch in the campsite. After lunch we will have our first game drive until the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. Nine different areas of vegetation characterize the park and in places there's a large predominance of baobab trees. There are also plenty of flat-topped acacia trees which provide ideal grazing for impalas, giraffes, waterbuck coke's hartebeest and cape elands - some of the largest species of African antelope. There are also buffaloes, herds of elephants, lions, warthogs, oryx, lesser and greater kudus, gerenuks etc.
Day 16
Early in the morning we have a game drive and we will make our picnic with our lunchboxes in the middle of the park. After lunch we start an afternoon game drive until the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 17
After our breakfast we will drive in around two hours to Arusha. We will have our hot lunch in the Naaz Hotel. After the lunch we will transfer you to the airport to fly to Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight at the Tembo Hotel in Stonetown. Situated 35km off the cost of mainland Tanzania, the Zanzibar archipelago is one of Africa's best-known and most enticing destinations. Stonetown an Arabian-style labyrinth of crocked narrow ways, all packed to the rafters with nineteenth-century mansions, palaces and bazaars: it is the cultural and historical heart of Zanzibar.
Day 18
After the breakfast in the hotel, you will do a city tour in Stonetown with a special city tour guide. Discover the small streets, nice famous doors, the markets and old buildings from centuries ago. Visit nice gifts shops where you can find plenty of souvenirs and the traditional African jewelry. Later we transfer you to the spice plantations for a spice tour. Clover, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices can be seen in the different plantations outside from Stonetown. You will receive information about the spices from a special spice guide. They are organically grown and they are traditionally used in cosmetics, medicine and cooking. You have the chance to taste and smell the spices and fruits while on this tour. After you will have your hot lunch in Stonetown and we will transfer you to the East Coast at the Sunrise Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 19
After breakfast we will drive in the south of the island for a special dolphin trip. A small traditional fisher boat brings you to an area near the coast, where you have the chance to see them in their natural habitat and to swim with them. Our lunch we will have a small restaurant at the beach. After our trip we back to the hotel at the East Coast for a free afternoon at the beach. Dinner and overnight in the Sunrise Hotel.
Day 20
Free day at the East Coast for swimming and snorkelling. Dinner and overnight in the Sunrise Hotel.
Day 21
After the breakfast you will have time to swim in the ocean or to enjoy the beach at the Sunrise Hotel until your lunch. After your lunch we will transfer you to Stonetown, to make the last shopping of spices and others. In the afternoon we will transfer you to the airport to fly back to Europe.
