Stylish yet relaxed, the hotel is one of the capital city’s most popular rendezvous and makes the ideal venue for both corporate and social events.

DAY 2,3

The best time for visiting is in the dry months between June to February. Vuma Hills Tented Camp remains open all year round, but access to some areas of the park may be limited during March to June, due to the rains. Birdlife during this time of year is glorious and compensates for the scarcer viewings of game animals.

DAY 4,5

Built by a local workforce and providing employment throughout both the construction and operational phases, the ultimate goal is to increase international awareness of the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, bringing in more visitors to appreciate the remarkable diversity of wildlife here and to contribute to the improvement of local community livelihoods.

DAY 6,7,8

Ruaha national park is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. The park is rich of plants and animals such as Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus  strepsiceros) which can not be found in any other national park. The park boasts of her almost untouched and unexplored ecosystem, making visitors’ safari experience very unique.

DAY 10

Each of our en-suite bandas is large and well ventilated with large verandas. All bandas can accommodate four people, in two separate rooms, making it convenient and friendly for families.

The bandas, as well as the lounge, dinning-area and bar, overlook the well attended waterholes in front of the camp.

DAY 11,12,13

Rufiji River Camp was redesigned in 2009 to compliment the perfect location on a promontory in the river bank. Built by local craftsmen, the Camp combines Makuti palm roofs with Selous sourced paving stones and farmed hard woods to create a beautiful and comfortable accommodation from which to enjoy the Selous Game Reserve.  The shaded swimming pool is a great way to cool off between safari activitis.

DAY 14

In keeping with Serena Hotels’ focus on renovation and improvement of properties to ensure that they continually meet the highest standards, Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel will be embarking on renovation of its public areas commencing 2nd December, 2015.
