DAY 1, 2

The lodge is situated at a height of 1300m on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and it is just a few minutes away from Machame Gate, the entrance to the Kilimanjaro National Park.

The small bustling town of Moshi which is roughly 20km from the lodge, can be reached easily thanks to the good tarmac roads.

DAY 3,4,5,6

For those that want to get a taste of Kilimanjaro and actually get on the mountain, but don’t have the time to attempt the summit, we offer a day trip to Mandara Hut, which is the first camp on Marangu Route.  This is a beautiful trek through lush jungle.  The trek to the hut takes 3 to 4 hours and covers 8 km with an 800m elevation.  Have lunch at the hut and enjoy the beautiful scenery before heading back down to the car and the hotel for dinner.  Or spend a night at the hut and descend the next day.
